This blog was started on 01 Aug '06, when some ex-students (ecommerce) asked me about how to make money from blogging. So everyday, I will set aside some time from my business to consolidate and create articles.

FAQ
Will there be any loss to the visitors that click your ads?
The answer is No. Every click is payable by the providers (e.g. Google, ClickSor) which charges advertisers for a fee to place their products or services via them at your blog.
In another word, the money you receive is in fact from the advertisers and these providers are just middleman that faciliate the service.
So do I click any ads when I am visiting others' blogs?
Why not? If it is something that interests you, a recommended product or services that you find value add, just click it.
The visitors get values from the links, the bloggers get to earn some coins or dollars, the ad providers make a cut also and the advertisers get to have a new potential customer too. Everyone wins! :)

Affiliate Programs 02
Wednesday, August 16, 2006
Q-Ads (Ad-genta) is one of the most interesting affiliate programs I have every come across. Q-Ads is own by Qumana Inc, Canada.
It is very different from others where it provides you a free program to create your new blog post, set up your ads, customize the ads, insert technorati tags, and all of these within the program 'Qumana' of the same name as its company.
Initially, when I first signed up I couldnt really figure out what is going on as there are no links or tools for me to set up the ads and it just kept prompting me to download this program. Only after I went thru the 10 pages of Q-Ads Tour then I realized that I need to have the program to get things to start. It kinda weird to go thru so many steps just to run a simple advertisement and for those that just started blogging maybe a tad confusing.
Anyway, here are some screen shots that I took after trying it out.

See 'Affiliate Programs 02 (Q-Ads testing)'
This is not the prettiest website, with very simple or I should say stripped down with minimum designs, Affiliate Program provider.
In AffiliateSensor website, it published the 'Pros' and 'Cons' of Pay-Per-Click and Affiliate Program and why they offer the best of both worlds. It is interesting to see it model after Google Adsense which it didnt try to deny also. Like the rest of the programs, you can customize the look and feel of the ads too. ---------
Note: I think it is best for you to weigh which is the better provider(s) with the best fitting pay out that also suits your needs.
There will be many others mushrooming out and there be almost the same pace many will close down with the stiff competition going on fighting for this market. My advise is for the more established providers like Google Adsense, AdBrite.com, if they do close down overnite than you have no one to blame but your bad luck. :)
