This blog was started on 01 Aug '06, when some ex-students (ecommerce) asked me about how to make money from blogging. So everyday, I will set aside some time from my business to consolidate and create articles.

| FAQ |
Will there be any loss to the visitors that click your ads?
The answer is No. Every click is payable by the providers (e.g. Google, ClickSor) which charges advertisers for a fee to place their products or services via them at your blog.
In another word, the money you receive is in fact from the advertisers and these providers are just middleman that faciliate the service.
So do I click any ads when I am visiting others' blogs?
Why not? If it is something that interests you, a recommended product or services that you find value add, just click it.
The visitors get values from the links, the bloggers get to earn some coins or dollars, the ad providers make a cut also and the advertisers get to have a new potential customer too. Everyone wins! :)

Without going into a lengthy explanation of what is what, right mouse click to open up the image below and then refer to the definitions that follow.
Title This is self-explanatory. Keep in mind that your blog's title should be easy to remember and distinctive too. A simple and distinctive title helps your readers find your blog easily on search engines if they forget the address too.
Subtitle Usually it is located right underneath the Title where it provides more details what the blog is about.
Blogroll It is a list of blogs links that you the owner of the blog frequently visit. By placing it at your blog, you can share with your readers, keep track of them and also make it easier to access the links when you are not at your own PC or laptop.
Refer to BlogRolling.com under 'Tools', where this provider has a nifty way of reflecting each blog link as they get updated.
Mailing List Do a 'push' rather than a 'pull' getting your readers to check your latest blog entries. Offer a mailing list subscription where any one can sign up for free and gets a copy of every entry you post to the blog. It is much convenient for them to get new items without having to check back several times a day too.
There are many such services online providers online, just do a google and you see a whole list of them freely available.
In this blog, I am using FeedBlitz where it provides an all rounder converting feed (RSS, Atom) and blog updates into email digests sending to your readers when they subscribed. Go under 'Mailing List' for more information.
more coming up .. time for lunch. :)
