This blog was started on 01 Aug '06, when some ex-students (ecommerce) asked me about how to make money from blogging. So everyday, I will set aside some time from my business to consolidate and create articles.

FAQ
Will there be any loss to the visitors that click your ads?
The answer is No. Every click is payable by the providers (e.g. Google, ClickSor) which charges advertisers for a fee to place their products or services via them at your blog.
In another word, the money you receive is in fact from the advertisers and these providers are just middleman that faciliate the service.
So do I click any ads when I am visiting others' blogs?
Why not? If it is something that interests you, a recommended product or services that you find value add, just click it.
The visitors get values from the links, the bloggers get to earn some coins or dollars, the ad providers make a cut also and the advertisers get to have a new potential customer too. Everyone wins! :)

Article: Google Toolbar
Saturday, September 16, 2006
One of the most useful tools available for you use to access how popular certain websites are, is from none other than from Google.com, the Google Toolbar.
Google Toolbar is a downloadable toolbar for browsers (IE but works best with firefox) that allows a user to do a Google search without visiting the Google website. Also it provides other value added features like
AutoLink, AutoFill, WordTranslator, SpellCheck, Highlight Search Terms, Word Find Buttons and most importantly PageRank.
From Google - PageRank "The PageRank button indicates the PageRank for the page you're currently viewing. PageRank is the importance Google assigns to a page based on an automatic calculation of factors such as the link structure of the web.
PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote.
Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important." Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank, which Google remembers each time it conducts a search. Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don't match your query.
So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines all aspects of the page's content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it's a good match for your query."
System requirements Windows XP/2000 Mac OS X or Red Hat Linux
Browsers Firefox or Internet Explorer
You can easily use PageRank to view the 'importance' of any websites as graded by Google and judge for yourself when you plan to become an advertiser for your blog before parting away your money. Firefox with Google Toolbar @ 'Products' (left side)
