This blog was started on 01 Aug '06, when some ex-students (ecommerce) asked me about how to make money from blogging. So everyday, I will set aside some time from my business to consolidate and create articles.

| FAQ |
Will there be any loss to the visitors that click your ads?
The answer is No. Every click is payable by the providers (e.g. Google, ClickSor) which charges advertisers for a fee to place their products or services via them at your blog.
In another word, the money you receive is in fact from the advertisers and these providers are just middleman that faciliate the service.
So do I click any ads when I am visiting others' blogs?
Why not? If it is something that interests you, a recommended product or services that you find value add, just click it.
The visitors get values from the links, the bloggers get to earn some coins or dollars, the ad providers make a cut also and the advertisers get to have a new potential customer too. Everyone wins! :)

Exchange Links?
|
|
| Add a link to your email signature. |
| Friday, December 29, 2006 |
Most of us send and receive emails, be it for personal or for work wise .... So why not just add a brief description of your blog to your email signature?
Keep it simple that blends well with the format of your outgoing emails and create a hyperlink on the descriptions or just simply provide the website link on it. Others that receive your mails may just be curious to find out more and just a click on it, vroom ... off they go to your blog.
Just remember, if your blog is about your personal stuff then please keep it personal. Dont place signatures all over the your company's emails with links to how cute your husband is. Your clients wont want to know how cute he looks in his underwear jumping out of the fake birthday cake for you. Instead you may just risk them putting off cakes forever. :)
Also, instead of just adding 1 signature why not rotate them in the emails that you send out? Some email clients allow you to do that, randomly or to follow a certain rules to it. Stick a different signature everytime a mail is sent out.
Another that you may like to consider is adding your best friend's blog address too, as an interesting blog to check out. Both of you do the same in your email signature and every mails sent out, creates a higher opportunity for others to visit. ---------- Tags: email, signature, friend, work, marketing, client, random |
