Will there be any loss to the visitors that click your ads?
The answer is No. Every click is payable by the providers (e.g. Google, ClickSor) which charges advertisers for a fee to place their products or services via them at your blog.
In another word, the money you receive is in fact from the advertisers and these providers are just middleman that faciliate the service.
So do I click any ads when I am visiting others' blogs?
Why not? If it is something that interests you, a recommended product or services that you find value add, just click it.
The visitors get values from the links, the bloggers get to earn some coins or dollars, the ad providers make a cut also and the advertisers get to have a new potential customer too. Everyone wins! :)

Since starting have you keep track of how much have you earned? Are these advertisements, banners, pay per click giving you any incomes or you are just giving up your blog space for free advertisements?
One thing about placing banners at your blog and with no one clicking it, either the advertisements are not targeting the right crowd or it is just placed wrongly where it doesnt attract any eyeballs on it at all. In the end, you are just giving free advertisements to the service provider and to the advertisers.
Do something to it, monitor it and then do a trial and error to the location and make a note to the result if it matches your effort too.
